Save and Share Assets
I'd like to be able to save photos I've found in the tool. In working with a few different pages, I wanted to reuse photos, but didn't want to have to search them again (and didn't want to save them in my own folder). Would be great to access them from the "find a photo" sidebar.
New Feature Alert! Create and share collections of assets with Creative Cloud Libraries in Adobe Spark!!
Boost your team’s productivity and brand consistent by organizing your assets into Libraries and sharing them with your team.
CC Libraries are personal collections of assets that you can share with anyone, instantly. No more tedious file management.
To get started, simply click on the new Libraries tile in your left hand navigation and select “Create Library.” From there, you can upload photos, illustrations, icons, and more and then invite your team. To access your Libraries in the Post editor, select the “Libraries” option in your image picker list and you’ll see all your Libraries and those shared with you.

Please reply with any feedback!

I like the assets folder but until you can use assets from you library on mobile it is really ineffective.

This is a welcome improvement, thank you! Unfortunately, it’s not really useful until it's available on mobile as well, particularly since custom brand templates aren’t accessible on mobile either. This does not solve team issues in my company, as we were hoping for a solution where designers can set up custom templates for use (with lockable features such as font size or letter/line-spacing), and social media managers can use the templates as a base for projects, working only on mobile. Ideally, designers would be able to check template-based projects and tweak where necessary.
I realise this is a first step, so it’s nice to see things are progressing. I will keep waiting eagerly for true collaborative features that extend to the mobile version of Spark Post.

Great news! I would like to provide feedback once this is available. I hope this is in development for Spark post mobile, not just the web. And I hope you’re not planning on setting up some sort of separate library from Creative Cloud libraries. If an organisation is already using CC libraries to manage brand assets (colors, icons, images), please allow us to access said items on Spark (mobile, not just web). Otherwise designers will suddenly have two sets of libraries to manage and update. I hope the team is approaching this from the point of view of “how do we make life easier for the user and save them time”.

How soon is this happening?

I use different texture pictures for graphics I make. Sometimes I can't find the same one after I use it. Having the ability to have a favorites folder so to speak for the free photo area would be a huge time saver!

Any update to this feature? The inability to store and categorize photos (both stock and original) as part of the brand folder is very cumbersome for business pages. Even Canva has this capability - or at least makes for a simpler workaround. Can the libraries created in Adobe Stock and Creative Cloud be accessed through Spark?

I agree with 4 - Sorting Folders. I have folders in two languages and it would be great to sort them alphabetically. It would save me time every time I open up my Spark account.

It was good to have a folder option in spark to manage your sparks collection I want to add some suggestion regarding to folder options
My Suggestion on Spark Folders
1 Folder Sharing
It will be good to have a folder sharing option so that we can share a bunch of work separated by the creators for different purpose to showcase work2 Color Folder
It will be Good to have a Color Box Folder so that it's easy to sort3 Icon Folder
Giving an Icon to folder will be good just like in windows to stand out4 Sorting Folders
Like in many software sorting folders by a-z, z-a, or oldest newest and so on will be good in Spark too -

i've been using the folders I see for organization, but then things keep tumbling out of them. I get the files organized and suddenly the next time I log in, everything is in disarray. Any idea what's going on?

Hi Everyone,
We are exploring connecting Spark to CCLibraries to help with your asset/photo organization. Would this help support your workflows to organize/save photos? Why/why not?
Thanks for your input!

I mostly create Posts, so I’m mostly concerned with photos availability within Posts, perhaps for some it would be useful to also be available in Pages and Videos.
I’ve been happy so far with the length photos have stayed available whatever that is. For example, when A holiday comes around I can usually find last years post and modify it.
For each project I usually create a 16x9 slide and Facebook post, an Instagram post 1:1, a web banner 2:1, and a Poster 17x11.
I use the duplicate function and resize each post and tweak it. However, if I delete the project then my uploaded picture is no longer “available” so I will have to upload it again if I want to use it again. It seems if I can upload it once and reuse it, then it would save server space rather than uploading it many times. -
Thanks for this suggestion! Do you mostly create Post, Pages or Videos?
Would you want your recent photos to be consistent across the three formats? How long would you want your recent photos to hang around for?

The ability to reuse an uploaded photo without uploading it again would be great. I generally make several formats of a project and while I can duplicate the project and resize it, it would be nice if under the photo section you could see recent pictures you have used and uploaded so you could quickly use them again. (This is partly a need since it is so difficult to find older projects, the project folder feature may solve this issue).
This is similar to another idea called "Save photos in a Spark folder", but it would be nice if both recently used AND recently uploaded were able to be viewed and selected again without having to search for or upload them again (at least until we delete the project).
Thanks. -
