1. embed gifs and problem with external links

   I love Spark and use it for all of my presentations. It would be great if we could embed gifs -- especially now that we can create gifs for social media.

   Also, whenever I click on an external link or an embedded YouTube video, I have to relaunch my Spark presentation and scroll from the top of the presentation to the point where I left off. This is extremely cumbersome and time consuming. It would be awesome if I could close the external link and my presentation was still live -- exactly where I left it.

2. Fix PNG and JPEG download bug.

   Everytime I try to download PNG and JPEG versions, the browser crashes. This never happened before. No problem with PDF download.

4. The image is distorted

   When I click on my logo from the library, it'll look fine as I'm editing. But when I download the image, it has a tendency to get stretched. Usually horizontally, but sometimes vertically and the image ends up cropped.

7. Sort projects in list view

   It would be useful if we could view projects in list view, not only gird view. Project names tend to get long and therefore it would be great to see the full project names in list view.

8. Improved branded templates on mobile

   I would like branded templates back on mobile. Templates for different brands could be browsed the same way as ”Featured”, ”Premium” etc. templates, with the name of the brand appearing as its own tab along with the other template categories.

   In addition, it would be great if designers could choose to lock certain template elements, such as the location and alignment of a text box, the font size, font color, logo location or the location of an image (regardless of whether it is freely movable or not).

   I serve as the in-house designer in a marketing team and frequently collaborate with non-designers on social media content. Locking template elements would help ensure consistency across branded social media posts, so my dear colleagues can’t purposely or accidentally edit design choices. In most cases, my colleagues only need a base on which to change pictures and edit text, but they end up accidentally moving elements, changing type size or forgetting to set type to all caps. Spark could be an immensely useful tool for any brand present in social media if you could get these features working. Companies are happy to pay for tools that save time on creating content for social media. Removing branded templates on mobile has had the opposite effect for us - duplicating posts is time consuming, as is correcting questionable design choices made by non-designers.

9. Add images/logo over a video

   Currently, you can add text or an icon as an overlay to a video, but the ability to add an image or your company logo on top of a video background is missing.

10. Background Image Actions

    I have a link to a post by CNN where the background image changes like a slideshow effect to a different image.
    It looks like something possible by your application for Android (I use Android) or maybe helps you come up with a better idea.
    Your app is easy to use and looks clean.

11. make previews match downloads

    I mainly use spark to film short interviews. When cutting around an interviewee's statements, sometimes you need the audiovisual cut to be EXACT. It is frustrating that you cannot fine-tune the frame where the cut happens, but what would be helpful is if the preview video audio cuts were EXACTLY the same as what is ultimately downloaded. So many times I have exported only to find that Spark has "guessed" where I want my a/v cut to be when generating the preview, and only "cleaned it up" in the export. The result is that I cannot rely on the preview to accurately convey the video as I am envisioning it, and instead have to repeatedly download the video in order to be assured of the timing of my a/v cuts.

12. would be nice if the final video you download had the same volume levels as the preview

    when playing a preview, the music is always much louder than the existing video audio, even if you have loud selected as the audio option for each slide. when you finalize and download, the music levels drop precipitously and the audio from your imported video returns to a more normal level. this usually results in having to tinker many times with exporting the video from spark, testing the audio level of the music blind multiple times until you get it right. there is no reason whatsoever the system shouldn't just be able to play the correct audio when i hit preview.

17. Custom fonts stay the same, after exporting to mp4

    When exporting to mp4, the texts i uploaded to spark dont stay, they're converted to random display fonts instead of the ones Ive used to help brand my company. In the hopes of maintaining brand consistency, i used the fonts from my branding kit and they get converted to something else after exporting.
