Import/Export to other Adobe Programs
It'd be great if I could create my templates on AI, for instance, and then export them to Spark. Spark is a great app, but it's pretty limited. It'd be great either if some simple, but extremely useful tools (such as copying font style) were implemented on Spark, but a quicker solution would be letting us create the template on these more "advanced" tools, and letting us import them into Spark just to adapt to new posts.
Thanks for the request! Can you tell me more about how you would like to create a template in AI and import in to Spark? We’d be interested to know how you would expect it to work, how often you might do this, and anything else you might be interested in sharing.

I agree with the above, being able to import back and forth would be useful. I'm new to the spark/express part and so far like it for idea generating for myself but agree it is limited if you want to fully add to the design yourself and not just a template.

I agree being able to import templates that I create in AI to Spark is the ultimate addition. This feature is the reason I even thought about using Spark. Seems like a no brainer to me. I have been using Canva but Canva is limited in the aspect of importing your own custom templates. If this feature were available I would use spark all the time for my social media post designs and I would recommend it to all my students. Seriously lacking as of now though since I can only upload it as a flat asset. The tool should be able to allow us to upload a complete template that is fully editable from AI to Spark or PSD to Spark.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your continued feedback and engagement! We just released a new workflow that should help in solving your needs: Create and share collections of assets with Creative Cloud Libraries in Adobe Spark!!
Use Libraries to import from other Adobe apps: You can easily place your photoshop and illustrator files into Libraries and then open them as flat assets in Adobe Spark!
More info here: https://adobespark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050379813-How-do-I-create-and-share-Creative-Cloud-Libraries-
Please share your feedback with us!

Hi there!
We’ve integrated Creative Cloud Libraries directly into the Spark editor. CC Libraries are personal collections of assets that you can share with anyone, instantly. No more tedious file management. With CC Libraries, you can browse and share your assets without ever leaving the Spark editor.
To get started, simply click on the new Libraries tile in your left hand navigation and select “Create Library.” From there, you can upload photos, illustrations, icons, and more and then invite your team. To access your Libraries in the Post editor, select the “Libraries” option in your image picker list and you’ll see all your Libraries and those shared with you.

For such a large and big company, Adobe is so slow to make basic modifications to their product. Wonder what the employees get paid for?

Relate to Creative Cloud in general (import-export libraries, colors, fonts).

the issue is you dont have full control over layout margins and other issues in spark, so you need to import from illustrator with layers to have some control so the social media managers can just adjust the design in spark..

We have been asking this for so many years.. I guess Adobe dont bother to listen...
"Spark is great for quickly making a mockup design" but would be so much better if we could open it as layers in PS ou ID... all Adobe programs should be able to do so! Isnt that the main reason for the Cloud montly paid version? C'mon ADobe! Make this happen! -

Would be great if we could save the projects in an editable format or be able to transfer it to another platform such as Ai so could be shared as an editable file.

Any updates on this? Running into the same situation in trying to download as a PDF but the BETA isn't allowing the back of a post card to download since I need the PDF for higher quality printing...thanks for any input.

Would be good to export to indesign. Especially to better manage text and prepare for printing.

I know this has been said before but I will repeat. Can you please add an 'Import and Export' feature from Spark to Photoshop and/or Illustrator?
