Add a custom URL
Be able to apply a custom URL
Hello everyone —
First off, thank you for your feedback. It’s amazing that you’ve taken the time from your day to share with us how we can make Spark improve.
However, we’ve decided not to integrate a custom URL / domain feature into Spark Page. There are lots of big improvements coming soon, but in the interest of transparency I wanted to let you know.
Please follow up with me if you have any questions. Thank you!

Hi all!
We have an exciting update to Cloakist's service for adding your own custom URL to your Spark page.
We now have a dashboard to manage the URL you want to show your Spark page at, change the page's branding, and add your own JS/CSS.
Go here to see some examples and try it out:
Use the live chat on our site to ask us any questions!

What is the point of having a killer website that we can't brand with our own domain name? I love this site and I shouldn't have to jump major hoops to get it to a custom URL. This is literally the only negative feedback there is.

Hey everyone!
I thought I'd give a round up of the options for putting a Spark page at your own URL:
1. Redirect, using your domain manager (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap).
Cost: $free.
Downside: doesn't stay at yoursite.com, moves to spark.adobe.com - UNLESS you use GoDaddy masked redirect, in which case there can be issues with your site appearing secure.
2. Use an iFrame
Cost: $free
Downside: can mess up the formatting of your site, especially on mobile.
3. Use Cloakist (https://cloak.ist/adobe-spark)
Cost: $10/m.
Downside: apart from cost, none.
Extra features: you can remove Adobe branding, change favicon, social sharing previews, and add custom code (CSS/JS).
Disclaimer: I'm the founder of Cloakist. We have 15+ customers using us for Adobe Spark. Here are some examples:

I am trying to get help for adding my custom URL. Since purchasing my name through GoDaddy, I was able to manage the DNS to redirect from my custom domain to my Adobe Spark page. I also was able to add the masking feature which will hide the long Adobe Page URL. After doing all this, my custom domain is still not being redirected to my Adobe page. I have been searching for HOURS to figure out how to fix this. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I have not gotten much help from Adobe, and GoDaddy has said this is the server on Adobe's end?

Has there been any movement on this? Can we add a custom domain name?

Why even ask for our suggestions when you ignore the only thing people want changed!

With the hopes that yet another post requesting the possibility to use a customised URL will do. I am working in a organisation testing grounds for digital storytelling online for our magazine, and Adobe Spark would be a good tool for the matter, but as it is not on option due to the URL issue, we are searching for other solutions, and probably will sign an agreement in January. I can't see how the Adobe Spark policy on URL is benefiting anyone, and particularly Adobe, as companies and organisations are forced by Adobe to choose competing products. Just saying.

Hi everyone! Louis, co-founder at Cloakist here. I wrote an article about putting your Adobe Spark page at your own custom domain:
https://cloak.ist/blog/how-to-put-your-adobe-spark-page-at-your-own-domain
Hope it helps you out! We now have 10+ customers using Cloakist to move their Adobe Spark page to a custom domain. Here's an example:

Ummm... for those of you who want to use your own domain name, why not just buy your domain, and use domain forwarding with masking to redirect?? With masking the address bar would still read mydomain.com even while it redirects to a spark video page.

I just bought a domain for $0.99 on GoDaddy.com
And then changed the domain in the analytics page of my adobe spark page.
I literally picked the exact domain name that I wanted!!! :D

Hey! I built Cloakist to let you put your Adobe Spark at a custom domain. For example, you could put your Spark at myportfolio.com instead of spark.adobe.com/***.
Here's a live example (a Spark page at a custom domain): https://spark.cloak.ist/
Without Cloakist, that Spark page would be stuck at https://spark.adobe.com/post/Fql4IOsPc2wfS/.
You can get started at https://cloak.ist/. Happy to answer any questions!

It is completely unreasonable to make people go through the work necessary to find out that you can't use a custom URL. Your product is carefully worded to avoid that. It can only be seen as a negative. A stain on your reputation. Erasing any hope of loyalty. Thanks for the heads up.

That makes this really cool product pretty much unusable. Please reconsider.

This is really unfortunate. I am trying to justify keeping a subscription to the full CC suite for my business, but finding it may not be worth it with Muse being phased out or having the custom URL feature in Spark. Right now the two apps I use most (acrobat and fresco) aren't worth paying the full price.

This decision should be revisited,
it's important having the to integrate a custom URL into Spark Page, secially for a not free plan -

I was going to use Spark as part of my Adobe CC subscription, but this generic URL farce has made me totally reconsider. I’ve been burnt in the past learning, using and relying on Adobe Muse just to have the rug pulled from underneath me by Adobe, so it won’t be happening again. Hello Wix...

I love the quality, but will too need to leave it behind and go with another source for my business if I am unable to create a custom domain.

I agree. Sorry, but Adobe leaves us with the terrible feeling of having wasted precious time, effort and money. It was with Adobe Muse and now is with Spark.
If I had done my research properly, I would have probably not spent the money on Adobe Subscription. Instead, with others who offer more up-to-date services.
I would rather e-mail a PDF of my works than share a generic URL with a client.
