Brand Collaboration
I need to be able to make a brand - logo, templates - the lot - as if for one business - and share this with others, so that a whole community can share in a common look accessing the same brand via spark - either via a common login or individual loggin into a common space.
Thank you for being so patient with this feature! Exciting news!!!!!
On Spark web, you can now share your brands with anyone on your team so that everyone can easily create content with your brand logos, colors, and fonts across web and iOS!
To get started, navigate to “Brands” on the left of Spark’s home screen and then click “Invite” on your Brand cards. Recipients can accept from an email or an in-app notification and then use the brand in their Spark Posts, Pages & Videos by picking it from the Brand switcher.
We’re really excited to get your feedback about this feature, so please email me if you are interested in participating in some user research to give feedback on the experience!
Thanks so much,
Chloe

Hi Chloe,
1) We would ideally like to have a Master Admin who is then able to assign roles to other users (as admin or read-only). This is helpful especially with large teams where admin ability is not tied to just one member of the organisation.
2) Since the media created with Spark is not just limited to social posts and could be used for a variety of things, we would like specific templates to be shared

Hi Chloe,
1) We want admin control to create master templates, with the option to "pass" the admin role to a new user when someone leaves the institution. We have staff who aren't as tech-savvy (and patient) as our admin staff, so it would be good to send them along as necessary.
2) We would like to share specific templates as new folks come on board to create their accounts. We give a lot of latitude with what folks do with social media posts, but want to have our videos branded appropriately.

Hi Chloe,
In response to your request for input
1- We want the admin control that would then limited the others (more than one with admin control would be dandy).
2- We want to be able to choose when and where things get sent. We have things post at a certain time of day. If that would be possible that would be a plus!

Hi Everyone!
Thanks so much for your comments and requests! To help our planning, would love your input on the following questions:
1) Do you want recipients of the brand to edit the brand or access a read-only of the brand to create projects with the brand ingredients? Why?
2) Do you want all your branded templates to automatically be sent with the brand or do you want to specific which templates get shared? Why?Thanks!

Have been playing around with Sparks for a few days now and I like the features although clearly it seems that the Brand Sharing functionality is going to be quite critical to the success of this particular product. Simply put businesses looking to deploy a new or revised brand using this software will only do so once the brand sharing feature is fully implimented. I for one would certainly like to see this rolled out as soon as possible.

Please release it in Q3 2019 maximum. -

My team decided to use Dropbox! We put all of the projects that we're working on in there and share collaboration with all! If Spark could come up with something like that, we wouldn't have to go off site with our projects.
Thanks! -

Can you please provide timing for when Brand Collaboration is expected to rollout? (We're starting to see increased pressure from our teams globally to switch over to Canva due to this functionality not being part of Spark) Thanks, T

Any updates about the project sharing inside the team? Is it something definitely needed.

Sharing Brand Identity is definitely a required feature. We're migrating from Canva because of that functionality and it will make a lot easier for teams to collaborate.
I do understand that Brand Roles might be a question on the development cycle as well, because we might not want interns to change the look and feel or the color of each post/frame/poster

please update with this function. Now we have risk that the band identity is not the same everywhere.

Sharing a Brand is unquestionably required. One issue I predict while enabling various individuals to alter a Brand is that on the off chance that non-creators are permitted to alter it, at that point somebody will in all probability mess up the plan or make it look awful.

Just adding another vote for this, it seems like the missing step to making Spark really usable for teams.
Basic, minimum features: the brand creator ('admin") should be able to add "users" (those who can access the brand templates for their own projects, but not make changes to the templates), or at the very least distribute a brand via link, etc.
Additional features: 1. Let brand creators can add additional admins - that way, if someone leave the company, the team wouldn't have to start from scratch. 2. "Lockdown" option, mentioned elsewhere in the thread.

Sharing a Brand is definitely needed. One problem I foresee when allowing multiple people to edit a Brand is that if non-designers are allowed to edit it, then someone will most likely mess up the design or make it look bad. So it would be good if the fonts, colours and logos could be locked down so that only administrators (or the owner) could edit it. Basically I'd like to see a 'Share this Brand' button somewhere with a checkbox next to it saying "Allow user to edit this Brand".

This would be huge for my team. Right now we are managing brands across multiple accounts. If Canva can do this, surely Adobe can.

I would love for this feature to work similar to how sharing works for other Adobe CC apps, where teams can share assets among themselves. None of us will be around forever, so as staff depart for new positions or retire, it would be ideal for *what we're paying for* to include this most basic functionality.
I love Adobe products, but this is a huge disappointment and missed opportunity for us to continue our subscription.

Just wanted to reiterate how key this request is for teams. Otherwise we're taking the time to set the brand up for each individual Adobe account, which is a hard sell when, like me, you're trying to showcase this as a good potential tool for your company's communications team.
