Share templates
It would be good for my clients to find a program where I can create social post graphic templates that are consistent with the rest of their design collateral. So adding templates from Creative Cloud with background images and editable text. Or create templates to share with friends for use in the app. I know its a fun app to use, but if I could use it so users can create interesting social post graphics while adhering to their brand guidelines that would be awesome.
You asked and we finally delivered!! Introducing Sharable Templates, a new collaboration feature from Spark enabling you to share templates across your team, and connect with other Spark users by sharing or creating from public templates!
On Spark web you can now easily create, share, and create from templates whether the templates are yours, your teammate’s, or shared publicly.
To get started, navigate to the template you want to share, save it to a Library, and then invite others to that Library. Recipients can accept from email or through in-app notification, and then create from that template from the Libraries manager or editor.
Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments!!

What is the idea of a Team collaboration without the ability to share branding templates / logo / font / color / music / video???

I would like to be able to share my branded templates with my whole marketing team. I am the only graphic designer for a global team. My team members all have the full version of Adobe Spark. If I send them a template for a particular campaign I want them to be able to duplicate them so they can use them for future campaign posts and currently I am told that they can not duplicate the templates because they are "branded."

Even better still would be the ability to lock certain assets. Then, for instance, I could send the template to a client and they would only be able to edit the text and not switch to some wonky font or anything like that. I guess I should make a request for this separately. Will do...

I've played around with Spark a little. It's a fun little gadget, but seems to me that it is mainly a way to create a “video” version of a keynote in your pocket. Which can be really handy if your ideas are flushed out and assets are simple. However, it seems clumsy if you need to go back and edit things or your assets aren't already on your device. Also, I wouldn't expect the ability to do much manipulation of assets. They kinda have to all be ready to place in to some degree. If your ideas are ambitious I would lean towards a more sophisticated platform.

Hi Everyone!
We'd love to chat with you to learn about how you would use Shareable Templates in Spark and specifically how you would limit or lock what can be edited in a template.
We have a walkthrough of screens we would like your feedback on. If you are interested, please fill out this form: https://airtable.com/shrNYvDo6ALkAJSLa and then sign up for a time to chat with us: [calendar closed]. Thank you so much. We look forward to talking with you!
Edit: Thank you for your enthusiasm! I've closed the calendar for now since we have enough folks signed up. But feel free to add your name into the first link if you'd like to be involved in the future. Thanks!

This was a brilliant feature and we had client accounts set up, so they could use these templates via mobile app. Removing this means we will have to shut down these accounts since it was the selling argument.

I don't understand why they removed the function to use the branded templates on the mobile App. It was the perfect solution for our clients, who wanted to use their own, individual, branded templates on the app. Please bring it back!

Same situation as Michael Todd. We’re really looking forward to being able to suggest Spark as opposed to Canva and the ability to share templates with clients. Thanks

We can share Spark projects, but not templates made from a brand. This makes it impossible to share with other users that need to be true to brand. So I would have to personally load my company brand attributes on each user's computer in order for them to have templates correctly branded. Spark is such a good tool, but aside from being able to have multiple brands, sharing brand and sharing branded templates are my top wish. Thank you, Adobe. We love you.

Hello. I work for a creative agency that is looking to create a handful of branded templates that we can pass off to our clients marketing team that they can go in and make small edits, pictures swap-outs, texts and graphics. I see one 'painless' solution that adobe spark could make that would help us suggest adobe spark as a social posting creation solution: Under the projects that are shared with those invite, allow them to duplicate the project as if it is their own. Just an option to Duplicate shared projects and moved into their projects. I would love to connect with the adobe spark team to beta this potential solution or if you need more details. Unfortionatly at this time we have to suggest Canva as a solution ( WE DON'T WANT TO SUGGEST THIS SOLUTION) Please HELP!!!

I hope something happens. As an instructional technology specialist and teacher of a lot of students, I have to first make a template, share the template with my kids by hand-typing in 100 student emails. Next, I have to get them open the template and duplicate it. Finally making sure they edit the duplicated one instead of my original file. Unless I am missing something, this process is so much work to just get something consistent out of them.

Sorry to keep this up but any news with the ability to upload templates? We're working with Adobe Stock to create and sell templates and it only makes sense to also upload them in Spark and sell the clients a subscription to Spark.

Yeah, I think being able to give an additional Adobe user the ability to access the file or make them a co-equal collaborator. I'm in a situation where our staff are relying on the templates I've created. If I'm not longer with the company, all of that work is essentially lost as the edits would still require my approval...

Thanks so much, everyone! This is still a planned feature and a key workflow we want to enable.
We will be setting up more interviews and user tests next year to share some prototypes of what we are working towards.
Look out for an email from us.
Thanks!

We need to create templates so that the social media person on the clients side can use something that looks good and is on brand. If not, they'll just create something they think looks good themselves and there will be no consistency or quality control. Then we can tell our clients to use this app. And we can continue designing templates for them.

We need to create templates our designers can drop in concepts to (internal usage of templates). Also, our marketing department needs this ability internally for social media.

@Chloe - We're interested in creating templates to share privately with out team as a tool for brand consistency through a variety of departments and positions within our organization. (marketing, sales, HR, etc) We're a small crew, so it's all-hands-on-deck for creating materials and being able to share templates will help us be more efficient so that people can be empowered to create their own visuals without needing to route basic things through one or two designers.
