Use Adobe Fonts on Brand tool
I have activated our company's new brand fonts in Adobe Fonts. I can choose them when adding regular text into my projects but not in brand settings tool. It seems that the only way to include new fonts in brand settings is to download them from Fonts and then upload back into brand settings. Could it be possible to somehow choose and use Adobe Fonts directly in brand settings tool without download and upload?

I just spent hours trying to figure out how to get the Adobe fonts I used in my logo to show up in the branding list of fonts. I am beyond baffled how this would make sense to anyone designing this Adobe program. Canva for the win!

This feature is basic and essential. I can't use Express with my clients if I can't use Adobe fonts in the brand identity. It's a bit crazy that I'm paying a license to use fonts in adobe suit and I can't use them in one of the application of the package. Because, as you know, I can't download fonts from Adobe, so I can't upload them in Express. It's really frustrating.

It is very frustrating that this isn't yet a feature. I can utilize adobe Fonts by going through adobe fonts and clicking "Try in Adobe Express" but still not able to include that font as part of a Brand. I would love to provide my clients with Adobe Express but since I can not give them a way to use their brand fonts it isn't possible. Very annoyed this hasn't been resolved after years of request.

Oh wow I'm really surprised such a basic functionality needs a feature request. And that so many people have been asking for this for such a long period of time. It's a pretty critical one? Brands a pretty useless if you use Adobe Fonts for your branding. Are we discouraging the use of Adobe Fonts here? Or are we discouraging the use of Adobe Express?

This is absolutely critical and ridiculous that it's not already included in the Brand pack when I am paying for a Premium Creative Cloud Licence. I can see from the different comment threads that people have been asking for this since 2021 at least. 2 years! Come on Adobe, get this one sorted out please!

What happened? I was able to use my activated Adobe Fonts, but now I cannot access them anymore. The advantages of Canva have become more and more apparent.

Hurry along Adobe - seems daft this isn't built in from the start. MVP stage maybe?

This is a complete oversight on Adobe's part. I agree with a comment another user made on taking my business to Canva. I am an avid Adobe product user and want to include Express in my creative process but am struggling to find reasons to stick with Express with small details like this missing. Alignment tools are another missing component; no ruler or guide options (which Canva has).

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! We're actively working on bringing Adobe Fonts to Brands. Stay tuned for updates!

For this reason, I have to move my business collateral to CANVA because this is critical for brand consistency and I need the fonts to be able to use in all designs across all platforms. We've been asking for this for over a year! Please implement ASAP!

I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do this. It seems illogical that this is not a feature. Please implement this ASAP.

This is crucial for accurate branding. Why would Adobe not want you to use its fonts?

Hi there, this feature is essential to maintain brand consistency. if you activate it in Typekit you should be able to use it in express.

I really hope that the next updates of Adobe Express will include the possibility to add to the "Branding" content the fonts that are available when designing a logo, without the need to download them and add them manually.
I will do it manually now because Adobe Express and the Branding settings make our work much easier anyway. It is an excellent tool, like everything from Adobe.
Thank you for the support. -

Using all of the Adobe Fonts families in the brand tool is critical. Limiting this feature to paid accounts seems like a worthwhile solution. In the meantime, I am worried about trying to download Adobe Fonts and uploading them again as I fear they would be flagged as having been illegally downloaded or something similar (if any of you have already succeeded in doing it, I'd be interested in knowing!).
Please consider this request guys. The fact that all adobe fonts can be used when designing the visuals makes it that more weird to not be part of the brand tool. Thanks!

To the person asking if we are all using the free version and wondering if the feature is available in the paid option. I can confirm that this feature is not available in the paid for version hence the ticket asking for the ability to set brand fonts to be added as the software just isn't functional as a professional tool without it.

If this feature won't be added, the whole express adobe suit won't be usable for our business anymore

I love this app for doing quick online posts or signage for clients when they are closed for holidays, or having a flash sale... basically anything that's not being printed in major quantities, and needed for temporary advertisements. It's great to use from my phone or tablet... but would be SO MUCH BETTER if the correct fonts for the branding could actually be accessed.

The CC Express tool, within 4 minutes of logging into my full/paid version of CC and trying it out for the first time, presented itself to me as being nothing but a basic tool for amateurs. There is no way for a professional designer to build a robust brand library that contains multiple iterations of a client logo AND a connection to the designer's activated list of Adobe Typekit fonts used in client branding. Without these essential features, there is no way I would consider using this app.
