ALWAYS offer paste from clipboard option
Adobe Express and anytime there is an image file import dialog on desktop apps, such as in the 'Color palette generator from image'
Add ability to import images from paste clipboard contents. This is often faster and a lot more convenient than fiddling with file import dialog
This applies to desktop but should also apply to mobile and responsive apps.
