Animation time (looping / manual control)
Let the user decide how long an animation takes so that we can add animation in descriptive slide as well.

I really need the animation time increased. Also, a selection to allow it to run the animation just once and stop, not loop. Thank you

Ability to animate both the picture and the text.

Agreed! It would also be great if you could adjust the speed of the animations.

Create each layer animation. Now this is single layer animation. (example I create a post on spark which is included 4 types of photo and I have to animate each photo differently)

I agreed. Or at least increase the time of the animation

Adobe has done a great job with its spark post idea. However, much of the hard work becomes useless to users after they create their graphics.
I mostly use spark post to created animated stories for my personal and business accounts. Abut 75% of the time I create these great looking stories but when I export them they export as 3-4 seconds....only rendering the 2-3 second animation and 1 second of the final still graphic.
This does not give users (even myself who created it) enough time to read the message. The last one I made I had to click the back button on the posted storyline 5x in order to read it all. This problem has made 75% of the animated stories I've created with spark post completely useless and unusable. I've had to completely change my story idea or go create the whole thing in adobe premier on my iMac.
Most all stories (Facebook, instagram, etc) last a default of 7 seconds so any animated post exported as a video should at least default to that. For my example, that would give 2-3 seconds for the animation and other 4-5 seconds of the fully presented still allowing users time to fully read it before it disappears. That would definitely be the easiest change adobe could make for a solution to this issue. A more useful option would be to allow us as users to determine how long we wanted the export to be.

Same request. The video animation should be adjustable to a longer length.

Some brands have an energetic vibe. Some brands are more chill. Therefore it would be helpful if the timing on the text animations could be adjusted to suit the brand/post.

Is there any news on this topic? Really would like to extend my instagram story videos to 15 seconds instead of 4..

I am not able to control the video length. Ideally, the animation would complete and then the video would carry on for the length I want (for example, 15 seconds for an Instagram story.) The videos were 3-5 seconds depending on the animation I chose which is not long enough for the end viewer to actually read the slide and see the image.
I really don't ever want my video to loop or skip to the next video at the exact moment that the transition is finished.

any news on this - now two years later ? it is pretty silly to have a standard lenght of 4sec, maybe to add a hold on the last frame at leaset?

Would be great if we could tweak the animation time or influence the animations individually to make it a bit longer. Would also be good if we can have the still at the end for about 10s longer.

Hi Marco,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This is a great idea, we will add this to the things to look into soon.

I know you can do that in the PC version of Spark by holding down the "seconds" icon. I think it defaults to 2s, but if you click on it, you can drag out the time to be longer. You can do this for each slide.

When you animate the text the video you end up with is 4 seconds long. I would enjoy it if you could change the duration and as a result you get a longer video.
Thanks a lot. :)
