Please allow special accounts for students under age 13
Younger students are currently restricted from using Adobe Spark due to COPPA. Please enable a version that complies with this law for our younger students. At the moment, we are having teachers create a shared classroom account, but this is an extra step that teachers have to do.
Hi everyone,
We recently launched Adobe Spark for Education which can be used by all students. We hope you check it out!

How do you create a shared classroom account? Could you explain the steps?

Just some input on this Adobe for Education feature. It is not as easy as Jonathan implies. My IT person spent three weeks trying to figure out how to load the Adobe Console needed on the district IT side to begin to make this work so students could establish Adobe IDs. Then they had to input all 500 students in batches by team (that was what ended up working best for us). My IT person spent a lot of time on the phone and email with Adobe support, so it is not intuitive if you want to set it up properly. And to be clear, this IT person is REALLY good, so it was not a lack of IT skill on our end at all. If there is a much easier way to do this to fully comply with COPPA, I would love to hear back. Good luck everyone!

PLEASE do this, and quickly :). I have 470 5th grade students! Shared access a a real issue. Thank you for this great resource!

I agree... Adobe Spark offers great tools, but my fourth graders can't use it without having a shared account. When 140+ kids are using the same account, it's hard to organize!
Thanks for your consideration!!! -

We are unable to use Adobe Spark at all in our schools due to the restriction. Please consider looking into this.

I would really like to have the ability for teachers to create a class code (ala Google Classroom) so teachers could monitor student projects; while not giving students access to each other's projects.
I really love this product and hope it will continue to develop! Thank you!
