Line Breaks in Text

When adding text, one canot add line breaks to the text, so even though the format is there when you add it, it disappears once put in the app. A line break feature needs to be added

    I think the term "break" is misleading. I want a SOFT RETURN to be able to break a line within a paragraph where I want it. You currently cannot do that in Spark Page, correct?

    The line break function seems to have been added, but now I am struggling to get all of the text on one line. It is doing this annoying thing where it puts one word on the second line no matter how you format the box, it will not all fit onto one line. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Like another poster I wanted to Spark Page for showcasing some poetry. It can't be done unless say an image is made of text in photoshop and then posted as such. Hardly ideal.

    Why go to the trouble of creating such a lovely piece of software and then leave out such a simple thing as a line break which you could presumably fix in 5 minutes?

    This from Jan 2016:

    Very poor (September 2018 - still not done)

    @adobespark This thread is more than 2 years old, is there a status update on adding this simple feature on Adobe Spark?

    Do we have an ETA on this happening? It is almost impossible to create creative content without this feature.

    A year has gone by and it's still not a feature?
    I just signed up for Spark because I wanted to create a visual medium for my students' poetry.

    No line breaks. I noped right back out and can sadly not recommend this to my colleagues.

    ...until you add line breaks. Come on, Thibault. I believe in you.

    yes please! this is so important. I understand it's a visual medium but so much of what I use Spark for with students and faculty is creating materials with visuals and text. I love the format but I can't recommend that the campus use it if it doesn't have this feature!

    Hows this going Adobe. Really need this to happen. I have long lines of text I need to split in specific places without jumping to a new section.

    I still don't see this option for line breaks or returns in Adobe Spark. Any progress in this since in the year since this was posted?
