Realtime Collaboration

Current collaboration requires a sign-out and sign-in process that only allows one editor at a time. It is very 2000 compared with MS Office Google Docs and even Adobe XD that allow live multi-user edits. I have been invited to two collaborations and neither worked. The project could not be found. Additionally, when working collaboratively the images added by each user do not show up for other users. All images another user added to a Spark presentation I shared could not be seen by other users and vice-versa for images they added. Finally, other users could not publish or update a published presentation I created. These limitations make Spark collaboration unusable for many modern, shared workflows.

    I want my students to be able to collaborate on a project in real time. I want them to be able to comment to one another and see what is happening while they are all working on the project. They do not all necessarily have to work on the project at the same time but if they wanted to then they should have the option. Currently, if one wants to work on it at home and the other is on the project they can't get in. It is super frustrating and behind the times. Innovative Designer, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator are part of our International Society for Technology in Education standards. If students can collaborate together with students at their own school imagine what they could do when partnering with students across the globe. Please consider having real time collaboration as part of your product.

    If you're working on a piece of art or presentation then be able to work on the project at the same time as another person or even more. A way for someone else to put what they're thinking into the project instead of describing it over a long distance. It seems like it would be an easier way to collaborate

    I would love my students to be able to collaborate at the same time. I can see doing so many more projects using adobe spark. However, students sitting idle because they can not collaborate on the project at the same time is never good.

    I am using this for a group project and if one person is on nobody else can. This is annoying and stupid. FIX PLEASE!!!

    I have a friend who I collab with a lot on Spark Posts, so rather than having her log into my account or have me log into hers, it would be extremely helpful to have a live-edit collaboration feature. A good short-term solution to this would be a feature where I could email her a Spark file and have her edit it on her account, similar to how you can email a .psd file and someone else can continue editing it.

    Perhaps it would require creating a Spark-specific extension (like .spk), so that is not too complicated either.

    It would be wicked awesome if students could collaborate on design a Sparkvideo, live, on separate devices.

    I agree this would be great for offices-I created an account before I knew about it not having a collaboration feature, and worked on several videos. I now would like to hand them over to my work colleagues to assist with the maintenance. I don't want to provide my log in details to my colleagues to carry out this work however. If it does not change then we might have to quit using Spark.

    Team Spark,
    I work in education and see the suggestion below. Creating special accounts and sharing passwords is definitely NOT something that is considered best practice. In fact, it is contrary to the digital citizen work that we do!

    I hope that the Dev team allows for this feature in the near future!

    This would be a great feature for family members to collaborate on creating pages, posts, family videos, etc! Look forward to seeing it implemented.

    The project should be editable by others but the creator should also be able to block certain parts from being edited and only viewed or make them completely blocked, etc.

    Michaela, I just want others to be able to add the voice. I am working with adults, so the project would not have to be locked. However, as long as they could add voice, if other Adove Spark users wanted the ability to lock parts of projects, I would not object.
