Attempted to make a timeline that spanned 100 years. I was hoping that it would be a multi-paged diagram. Unfortunate to see it was all clumped together, incoherent and ugly.

Scrolling through events can be tricky as the cursor tends to jump back to the top when trying to select one of the lower-down events.
The text on the timeline is also not quite right as you can't expand the "text box" so to speak.
Also would be better if the output file was more adaptable i.e page size, margin layout, orientation etc.
Other than that, a useful free timeline generator. Many thanks Adobe!

Not great. File is really small and hard to magnify

I can't save my work and return later? Even for a prototype, that's just sort of a standard thing. I have wasted my time. Very disappointing. I'm actually a paying Adobe customer and this isn't even available on my account.

When I press design I can’t do anything other than choose what format I want. I can’t click out of this.

I think the option to add multiple pages would be useful. I also would like to be able to click on the events on the actual timeline and drag them around.

Would love to be able to do a detailed 20-30 year timeline for a research project with color coded events. Also to be able to insert photos from a image research file. How are the files saved.

On the prototype timeline the text box has unlimited range and can be made so small you can't get it back to normal o-0

Be able to save on Cloud first, so we can retrieve that document at anytime without losing the progress

I had a big problem with scrolling in the event menu when looking between my events. If I tried to download my timeline, all the data was crushed together. I`m not sure if this is because I have so many events or some other reason. the scrolling really hinders me though.

I needed the timeline to have enough room for 10-15 events. I also needed to change the size of the font, because I could not get all the info for each event.

It would be good to be able to expand the timeline as the more you add to it the more bunched up it becomes and therefore impossible to read.

Can't add my own photos? Only prompted with searching your stock photos.

I can't upload my own images. You can't even save your timeline. I accidentally went off and had to redo the same thing. It doesn't save the whole sentence. You need to improve this stuff. I wish Google Docs had a timeline option. .001 out of 10.

I created a timeline in Spark, and later noticed that I had made an error. However, it seems like I can't reopen the file and make changes. Once it's downloaded, it cannot be changed. I'd rather not have to redo the whole thing again, especially since I might make another mistake and have to start all over--again.
