Improvements:
It should be easy to add a new event to the timeline. Move the 'Add event' button to the top of the list or a more easily accessible place
Timeline should automatically be spaced out proportionately, not evenly!
The list on the left side keeps jumping to the top of the list when I move the cursor...
Maybe a list of icons to choose from if the user does not want to insert a more complex image to keep it nice and simple

Love this product - thanks for making it. Being able to choose what part of the photo to appear in the timeline (essentially cropping it) would be helpful. Also, uploading your own photo would be nice.

Please add the feature to create time periods

I really like the feature, but I wish it had an option to change the title/heading/text colors, while keeping the design.
For example, I like using option one for most of my timelines, but I wish I could may the features on it blue rather than red.

why can't I upload my own photos?

If you type the date, month and year it doesn't show the full month name for longer months: it should auto adjust the size to allow the whole date to be seen

If you're going to prompt for dates, the layout should autoscale. See https://timelines.gitkraken.com/ , the black background is ugly but it places the flags at the specified spot on an actual timeline

It would be wonderful to create a way to have BCE dates - I have a project where students create a timeline for themselves but I would really like to include the first hominid as well as the formation of the Earth and the Big Bang...13.7 Billion years ago. Any chance you are working on that capability?

Direct click on timeline to create a new event could be great!

Be able to sort dates automatically rather than manually doing it yourself.

Make it possible to add images from your own computer not just form the internet.

Not Enough space to show all the info that was needed without it being cut off and there needs to be a way to adjust the dates/events to the correct spacing.
