Fix the bug that reverts to an earlier point
I have contacted your development team every time I have had a project crash, including sending them the file to troubleshoot.
From Spark Post on through CCE, this bug has been a constant issue where suddenly your project will freeze and you will have to reopen the app. Many times this results in your work reverting to an earlier autosave point. Considering that you cannot save your work on command, you must just cross your fingers and HOPE that your work remains the same as where you left off.
SOMETIMES this happens when the application doesn't freeze, and you will execute a command and then the app has a fit and takes you backwards in time, causing you to lose hours of your life to frustration.
The problem is that if you have to close the app because it freezes, you're stuck with the changes. EVEN IF the thumbnail shows correctly. Many times the thumbnail is exactly where I left off, but upon opening the file/project it reverts to a random autosave.
If if decides to revert while you're working on something and it doesn't freeze, you can smash the back arrow and say a prayer and hope it will return to the place it was before... Hopefully. Then what you need to do is exit the project and reopen it again, don't uncross your fingers yet because this is another opportunity for it to crash and your work may or may not revert to said random autosave.
Some of my projects I have had to rebuild because I am unable to do anything with the objects and the project will just refuse to act right and it will just randomly remove objects or change positions or layouts. Why the developers chose that silly slider option for layers when checkboxes or radio buttons in a drop down list would have been far better.
I can understand the problems with selectable layers when you are using high quality images, the processing power needed exceeds mobile phone capabilities...? At least in the sense of holistic user interfacing..?
But icons, or rather, wingdings (text objects) take up zero space, and you should be able to arrange the layers of text or icon without having to move others out of the way or select all and then deselect objects.
I find myself executing a lot of redundancy that could be simply automated.
Since Adobe is in the business of imaging software, it seems like it should pay more attention to what the people who use it most are saying instead of blowing us off because we don't have million dollar corporate accounts that pay all the monthly subscription fees.
Another suggestion: license spark post for a fee so people who like the old version are happy because you are losing a significant portion of your customer base when you exclude people who rely on it's convenient features because they don't want to pay the monthly subscription amount.
NO ONE WANTS TO PAY A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, PERIOD. But the people who use the free features of the application ARE YOUR BEST ADVERTISING NETWORK. Do you know how many people I have shown how to use Spark? Now that it's CCE and there is no option to sort your images by licensing/free, you waste a hundred extra hours digging for an image that you can use, OR, you can save yourself a hundred hours and switch over to the Google image search and probably pull up the very same images Adobe wants to charge you for, but FOR FREE, and then right click and save and then switch back and insert from your gallery.
People are always going to find hacks and exploit them. You ruin your reputation and your ratings by saturating everything with the various subscriptions you're pushing, all of which are for different application features, because there is no consistency anymore with Adobe products and there hasn't been since bridge.
Btw, if I had a bridge account, can I still access it or my images that were saved across my computers?
