I used one of the premium templates I found while browsing through Adobe Spark and made minimal tweaks (like color) to better fit my brand. However, I got so many hateful comments accusing me of stealing from @adamjk's work which was a huge surprise considering I used a premium template. In looking at his Instagram, I did find what appeared to be the original piece that whoever made the template from stole (with pretty much no change or attribution). This is not OK. Artists should always receive credit and if we do come across what we recognize as stolen work, we should be able to report copyright violations so that the template can no longer be remixed/is removed and anyone who has remixed it can be alerted (hopefully before unknowingly sharing stolen work). This taints not only the artist's brand but ours as well.
