This is critical especially because I can't use multiple templates in one project.

This is very basic and missing feature!

I really need a function for copy > paste in place. I am making different Instagram templates for a client – and I need the logo to be in the same size and placement for all the templates... so to have Paste in place is really critical! Thank you!

I have been waiting for this feature for quite a while now. I feel as if implementation could be extremely easy, as the copied object could be stored in the clipboard as a Base64 encoded JSON string or something similar. This should be quite easy to do, and it not being implemented from the very start is embarrassing.

Without this feature, people have to unnecessarily create the same content multiple time and its very difficult if the layer or design is part of your core design on multiple projects.
Not sure how this MOST BASIC feature was missed by designers of adobe!!! and even after 2 years of this enhancement request and multiple comments below, nothing much has changed.
Not good adobe, not good at all!! Wake up please!! Please get this fix in URGENTLY as part of your next release else you will keep having a lot of frustrated customers...

I was just starting to consider CC Express a viable solutions for the production of small, serial web graphic elements (banner, buttons and so on) but without copy/paste it's like a horse without a leg... crazy miss!

It would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to copy/paste pieces of one project, into another spark project. (from one spark to another). I would use this every single day!

I cannot concur with this more. It's crazy that this isn't considered a basic feature already.

OMG... please make this possible... so frustrating. You added a 'new library' feature. I thought for sure this might solve my problem... but it appears you can only do this with saved art? I have to import something into the library? But I can't copy and paste from one work to another or save a headline in the library to use in another post/workpiece? Ugh.

Text, Icons, etc. The user should be able to copy and paste these from previous work to new work. Make the paste to carry style and provide the option to paste with or without style.
