Make Youtube thumbnails under 2mb

I use adobe spark to make my youtube thumbnails. This is a preset size on Adobe, but recently for whatever reason the file sizes are a lot bigger. They need to be under 2mb to post to YouTube and this needs to be fixed. My old thumbnails were always only a few hundred kb but now they're all closer to 2mb

    Yes, it makes no sense that it exports them greater than 2MB (I known you can then re-size them)

    I agree I'm having this same issue. If it's possible it would be nice to make sure these files are limited to 2Mb. I'm using the Web version
