I'm new to Spark. I haven't seen an "Edge Feather" yet. Maybe I'm missing it. Would be a great addition. Makes pictures and different things kind of melt into the background in the right way

It should start with transparent.
I literally never want a hilight ever.
This app perfectly allows me to not do that literally ever.
Can color match but gotta stick with solid colors. So forget using pics. 👎🏽

Great suggestion, to allow the Opacity slider value to be set to 0%. That said, it sounds like you have a backing shape added to your text, and that you are trying to "remove it" by lowering the opacity. If that is what you are trying to accomplish, select your text that has the backing shape, then choose Shape, then choose the first option. It's the first "abc" icon under Basic, which means "no backing shape".
