Square Aspect Ratio Video's please

be great to have square aspect ratio for vidoe's please - instagram / fb perform well with this.

    Just to add to the chorus - we are testing out a paid Spark account for a few months, but if there's no sign of square videos by the end we'll probably have to go with something else (which is more expensive).

    The ability to choose between a 16:9 or square video from the onset would be great. We use sqaure videos for instagram, whatsapp and facebook marketing.

    Not just square! It needs the 9:16 ratio that is used on IG Stories as well!

    Was about to upgrade to Pro until I saw that this simple (and absolutely necessary) feature isn't available. Crazy that you wouldn't offer it these days.

    On March 13th, 2017 it has been put on the road map. I understand it takes more than an afternoon, but when can we expect other screen ratio's (preferably not only square, but also 9x16 for instagram stories for example)?

    Not only is the square format needed, but it looks like the video format was widened with the last update. Thats not instagram friendly at all. I love this app and will continue to use it, but if the video aspect ratio doesn't get resolved, I'm going to have to look to other video editing options.

    Please hurry up and do this. Spark has lots of competition popping up now with services like Canva and Promo. I really don't want to move but 1:1 will become a deal breaker for me soon.

    As a new user, it's distressing to come here with the same complaint only to find out how far back it goes without solution.

    How long would it take to build out some square & vertical templates for us? An afternoon?!

    It is, quite frankly, ridiculous that Spark Video doesn't have 1:1 as a ratio option.

    Square format videos are a MUST for social media now. Please make it so!
