import from word
Spark is pretty cool, but its a pretty poor editor compared to something like Microsoft Word. It would be really cool if we could write an article in Word and have Spark read it and adapt at least some of the formatting. Excel spreadsheets would be useful to be able to import as well.

As long as you can use text processors and spreadsheets other than MSOffice. I know everybody, and his cat uses it, but MS Office is the most over-engineered, unreliable unpracticable software I know. I do everything it does better and more efficiently with other software. Remember the motto of good engineers? KISS (Keep It Simple and Sturdy or in the mouth of some Keep It Simple, Stupid)
