Add ability to jump to parts of a page
Add the ability for anchor tags to jump to and from different parts of a Spark page. This would be extremely helpful for navigating from one part of the page to the next.
We have now shipped the ability to create and copy “anchor links” on published Spark Pages. This will allow you to “jump” to parts of a Page.
To view and use the feature, navigate to a published Page and hover over a heading or subheading. You’ll then see a link icon appear, and clicking the link will generate an anchor link that maps to the heading + it will copy it to your clipboard. This feature is currently live via web browser and not on our iOS app.

It's amazing... I created a menu inside my Spark Page.

My first published page caused confusion for my viewers sharing the links next to the headings didn't work. Disappointing look on a published work. How can those links be removed? Seems there should be another way to add the capability of a Table of Contents section to link within the same page, rather than hyperlinking to the published page. Defeats the purpose of the one page aesthetics.

What is needed is the ability to have a contents section at the top of a page with links to allow the user, within the same page, move to different sections. Adobe, please respond.

This is a great and very necessary feature. However, if it only works with "published" pages, it makes it very difficult to use this feature for navigation within a page (like a contents table). You would have to publish the page, collect the anchors and adjust the page. Not ideal. This highlights that Spark pages don't have a chaptering/contents table feature. The absence of this feature (amongst others) limits the use of Spark pages for newsletters, annual reports, short publications.

I don't understand how this works. Can you post more detailed instructions?

I was expecting to be able to utilize a jump to the anchor that would take me to a specific part of the page without launching another instance of the page in order to get there ... any ideas of what I may doing wrong?

I looked at this yesterday as well when Mike Ashland commented re: the ability to create menus. Definitely wanted to see how this was working. BUT, from what I can tell, and per the instructions above, you don't create these links in the backend, where you're building your content. You go to the live page, hover over a heading, and see the link icon. So I guess you can grab a link to share that will land people at that particular spot on your page. ????

The anchor link won't appear when I follow the instructions above. Anyone else experience this issue? Thank you!

It's done and it's working FANTASTIC. Simple solution. Elegant, really. Have to give it to Adobe. This is maybe not THE gamechanger...but it does give us the ability to create menus and move through the single page scroll that Spark is limited to.
Thanks, Adobe. -

I think this thread is no longer followed by adobe as the feature was published. Maybe this fix receives attention if raised up as a new feature suggestion - vote here... https://adobespark.uservoice.com/forums/369531-spark-page-feature-suggestion/suggestions/39274924-can-you-please-correct-the-copyanchorlink-featur

Is there anyway to get rid of this feature? When I share it says "Copy Anchor Link" in front of all the titles!

I now have "copy anchor link" in front of my title in big bold letters. This feature is not working the way I believe Adobe thinks it should. How do I remove "copy anchor link" from my titles?

As this caused a bit of a hassle to my current jobhunt, I reported it to local Adobe community. From there, I got the hint that "copyanchorlink" is only in my own desktop chrome browser. Then I verified this with another friend. It seems it is only on the (not-logged-in) browser of adobe of the one who created the publication....tried to dig Chrome settings,no success, beats me, I am done with testing this. I suppose verifying what has come out as spark publication, has to be done with another browser than chrome.

Remove this feature until it's fixed. Please. A majority of presentations are accessed on tablet and mobile; even if in a web browser, it looks TERRIBLE. "Copy anchor link" in huge bold letters everywhere and we don't have the option to "turn off" the feature.

My online portfolio turned into a "copy anchor link" show, and just gave this link out in a bunch of job applications...now they think I am not able to use Adobe Spark.... And it is not just in front of headlines but all text elements. This happens with Chrome desktop which is probably the most used browser globally.

All the titles display "Copy anchor link", with Chrome on mobile (version 79.0.3945.79).
It works fine with Brave (Mobile) or Chrome (on PC).HELPPPPP :)
