There is a large community of designers who make and sell templates. It would be extremely useful for everyone in this community if we could sell or give access to a template that the client could edit from within the app and download (to be able to post to social media) but wasn't able to reshare /re sell / grant additional access to the template we sold them.

There are a lot of us who spend a lot of time making these templates and then we sell the template to the wrong person and next thing you know they are reselling our art.

This is becoming more and more of an issue as Canva is changing its UX to encourage more sharing of designs.

I think there is a huge market opportunity to have a free lightweight graphics app for the basic end-users to add photos and colors to templates and a more powerful graphics app for the designers who are creating the templates.

The free lightweight app would essentially only allow the users to add their own photos, change colors and download the art. (or post directly to social media)

The more powerful app would include greater functionality for the designer to include, file organization, storage, permissions sharing, design assets, stock photos etc.

Please reach out if you would like to discuss this in more detail.
