Improved Text Formatting/Spacing
In a text box that contains multiple paragraphs there is no way to increase the space between paragraphs or add a manual line break/space. This means each paragraph needs to be it's own text box, which doesn't really work well for many styles and is just a silly work flow.
More customization of text would make Spark a very useful tool, but without simple things like that and the ability to specify font size, I think I'll go back to Illustrator/Photoshop.

As we know in one complete sentence there are many things such as UNDERLINED words, HIGHLIGHTED words, BOLD words, ITALIC words. But sadly there's no option to do this. For e.g In a sentence I need to change Font of a particular word, to Highlight a particular word, or to Underline a particular word, to make Bold to a particular world. And also we can't choose different colours to different words in same sentences. These features are very important for me. Editing on an image with text then this feature required most. Again I saying these all things is to be for every single Sentence. So that for every sentence we can customise it in different ways.

Please allow breaks in text that are empty to show up in text boxes

It's nice to say this from an altruistic view, but in reality there are many cases where users need to edit PDFs and have no access to the original document. For example our users have to lodge amendments to submitted patent specifications that are only available in PDF format.
We used Nitro for a while, but the latest version of Acrobat Reader (XI), makes significant improvements on text/layout editing. For basic page manipulation (rearranging, collating etc), we use an email management software product call inMailX

I can only support what Marita Koivisto has suggested. Especially what the line spaceing in the minus range betifft. set to -10 or -25 or even -50 - these are settings I would need for modern typography and state of the art designs again and again. It is very intimate to move fonts easily into each other, especially when they are bold.

So I get this app, this is not for professionals... But that is exactly what I'm looking for. We are a non profit organization with a few dozen satellite organizations who want to have the same quality of video as we do. Of course that is impossible, we don't have time to finish all those videos fro them so this app seemed very appealing: they'd just have to upload the video, put it in the template and done... But why can't I as a designer make any templates for video? Why can't I choose how big the logo is when I upload it in the last screen? Why can't I choose how big the text should be and where to put it, or at least create a few styles? Sorry for this long rant but we are working with the CC suite for already quite a while and I was hoping there would be some synergy between these two apps but there's none. I can't even upload a PSD file or use the font from adobe fonts...

Am I missing something? The admin comment on how to do this talks about the pencil where it lets you adjust spacing between lines, but I don't see that pencil or feature anywhere.

How is this STILL not a feature? It's so basic. Please Adobe! I've wasted SO much time trying to create paragraphs with separate boxes that don't quite match up. It shouldn't be this hard.

Please fix this. In an organization where we have multiple needs of easy to use graphic design tools, this is holding me back in suggesting anyone here to go with adobe spark,....

Line breaks and spacing would be very useful – I would also love more freedom with character spacing when formatting text – the current options for character tracking seems to stop at 0, but many display fonts would work better with tracking set to -10 or -25 or even -50. These types of text formatting options, which we are used to from Adobe's other software would make designers very happy.

Definitely wish I'd realized this was a problem BEFORE I purchased a year of Spark.
Wow. How do you not have this feature?

+1 for basic ways to control your text, like line breaks for starters.
I appreciate those sharing workarounds. They work, but we shouldn't have to resort to that sort of thing. It's almost 2020 Adobe. We have the technology. You've had "Shift-Enter" in your apps for over 20 years.

This is needed now. And, you need to be able to easily force text to one line and fit to your text box without being forced to use "Capitalize and Fit" which changes the entire look of the text. How soon can you fix this?

I´m a bit disappointed about not being able to add a simple and beautiful line of empty space inside a text box. Also really surprised somebody requested this back in DEC 2017 and it's still a problem.

Please add line breaks, so we can add a line of white space between paragraphs!

The manual line breaks would be really helpful. All Caps would also be a great addition.

1.5 years later Adobe is looking into it. That's funny! This was almost a really great product a couple years ago, but failing to fix the very minor short comings made it pretty useless. The lack of support of a product is a perfect reason to not use it. Otherwise we put the time into learn it and adopt it, and then it's gets discontinued.

I feel that text needs to be more manageable. No need for major special effects. I like that it is simple but would like to have Spelling options and a way to edit text that if I want the sentence to be on the other line I can do it! for example create a size for the title page and not be stuck to the brand or the template.
