Improved Text Formatting/Spacing
In a text box that contains multiple paragraphs there is no way to increase the space between paragraphs or add a manual line break/space. This means each paragraph needs to be it's own text box, which doesn't really work well for many styles and is just a silly work flow.
More customization of text would make Spark a very useful tool, but without simple things like that and the ability to specify font size, I think I'll go back to Illustrator/Photoshop.

In an organization where we have multiple needs of easy to use graphic design tools, this is holding me back in suggesting anyone here to go with adobe spark, https://goodgameempire.io

To separate lines of text on the web, select the “pencil” icon to edit text, and use the space bar to separate the lines (see the attachment, create a text break). If you would like to adjust the space between these lines, you can do this by adjusting the “line spacing” slider found in the editing bar. I implement this on my site (https://247carkeys4u.co.uk/). So I think this is likely good but not at all.

I would truly very much want to have the option to determine what textual styles I need to utilize for this site (https://www.ecron.co.uk/) while making a show here. I like the alternatives that are now accessible, however might want to have the option to pick different textual styles in the event that I don't track down the preset ones valuable.

Please add line breaks, so we can add a line of white space between paragraphs!

It is really odd how Adobe absolutely ignores long standing functionality bugs like this...yet gets all excited when they introduce new features that no one really asked for. I mean they are nice new features, but cmon guys & gals, lets get the basics fixed after 5 years of requests before moving on to the next shiny thing.

I am a fairly new Spark user, and when I discovered I couldn't enter manual line-breaks in my text, I figured I MUST be doing something wrong. I searched this issue, and the first request for this that I found was in a now closed post from 2017! The requests for it have been going for years, and I find it absurd that it wasn't a feature in version 1.0. There needs to be MUCH more control over text entry.

I would really love to be able to specify what fonts I want to use when creating a presentation here. I like the options that are already available, but would like to be able to choose other fonts if I don't find the preset ones useful.

Why are you ignoring text spaces and line breaks in the design? Such a basic feature.

I need negative tracking. it's part of the brand identity to have the font set with tight tracking. it looks so weird off-brand when the tracking is wrong

Totally agree with this. Not being able to add a blank line between is ridiculous and time consuming.

Can you please add secondary formatting for individual letters? I made an acrostic poem recently and it would have been useful to use the secondary style to highlight the first letter of each line.

If you ad a special character on the line break, then use a secondary style and make it the same color as your background, it dissapears and then looks like a break space.

Would be great If scroll Bar to change size, were changed by a numeric keyboard, would help to be more precise

I've used Spark a lot, and find these formatting issues a pain, but also find several things useful so I've found some workarounds while waiting for the Spark team to catch up with our wish list.
It's not elegant, but the only way I've found to add space between paragraphs in the same block is to hit the return key and add a special character like *, then hit return again. This will separate the paragraphs, but then you have the special character on a line by itself. Like I said, not elegant.
As far as formatting text, when I export this into a PDF, I use my Acrobat Pro to edit the text how I want. I can even remove the special character.
I hope we get these options permanently soon, but good luck to everyone in the meantime.

Hi, I'm a bit lost here.. just using the space bar for more space between lines of words is not working for me online or on mobile app. Is there still not a way to separate groups of words in a text box..?

As we know in one complete sentence there are many things such as UNDERLINED words, HIGHLIGHTED words, BOLD words, ITALIC words. But sadly there's no option to do this. For e.g In a sentence I need to change Font of a particular word, to Highlight a particular word, or to Underline a particular word, to make Bold to a particular world. And also we can't choose different colours to different words in same sentences. These features are very important for me. Editing on an image with text then this feature required most. Again I am saying these all things is to be for every single Sentence. So that for every sentence we can customise it in different ways.
